Just wanted to give you all an update on last night’s show, the NGA, Granite State Open. So many of you asked for an update and I appreciate all the interest in my crazy sport, lol!

Things went very well last night!

The show was great, and the competition fierce! I have never been on stage with such a competitive line up. I was psyched all day to have to get on stage with all these women! 15 in the masters class. They had us up there forever!! I think like 30-40 mins at least. I took 1st in that class and I was so happy. I've come in second at this show 2 years in a row and to take first amongst all these women was HUGE for me. I was a trying so hard not to cry on stage.

Both the heavyweight and lightweight classes were just as competitive. A lot of these women are seasoned competitors, I've been on stage with them before and we're all getting better every year we get together. I have not been on stage with Christine Resendez before though. That woman is amazing. She's a great competitor and a beautiful and gracious woman. I took 2nd in the heavyweight class. Christine took 1st and took the overall over the lightweight winner, Cheryl Davis who always looks fantastic!

It was a great day. Long, exhausting, fun, exhilirating all in one. Laura Tourtellot, the promotor truly cares about all the competitors, loves the sport and makes her shows more enjoyable every year.

Thanks so much for all your well wishes and support! 2 down and one to go! Then it’s time to eat!!!!
