Here we go again! My last peak week of the season. What mixed feelings I have about that. On the one hand I'm ready to be done. Get life back to normal. I am so lucky to have such a supportive and patient husband. And my wonderful sons have put up with a lot this season. I think they'll appreicate having their mom back around the house and not Medusa!

On the other hand, I'm a little sad that it's coming to a close. I've had such a great season (so far ). I look the best I've ever looked. I'm excited for this weekend's show. I will have a lot of friends, family, coworkers, and clients there! Geeez, I better do well! Lol! I've had success that has exceeded my expectations and I'm so happy to be blessed with my wins.

I've pushed body harder than I have ever pushed it and have manage to have my diet working with me this year rather than against me as it has in the past. By that, I mean that I've felt my healthiest during this prep. No major stomach issues, no huge plateaus therefore, no big drops in calories, Kept my supps fairly simple through the prep and am thankful that I only ended up with a minor sinus infection and some low back pain. Nothing my chiro and some stretching can't take care of. My energy for the most part has been great. I've had days where my ass has been dragging but overall I can't complain. Cardio has been kept to a minimum (well minimum for me). No 2 hrs a day for me! And no injuries!

So I go into my final peak week energized, motivated, determined to do my best and so happy that I am able to compete in this sport.

I'm happy to have the support of all my online buddies. People showing up at shows that I've never met before just to see me compete! What a wonderful extended family I have!

This week begins with my diet on track 100%. 45 mins of light cardio today done on the recumbrent bike. I didn't wear my watch but would estimate the cals to be around 175-200.

Time to give it my all one more time and step on stage this Saturday with the best physique I can present!
